Christian Education

Teaching the Christian faith from generation to generation is the heart of the life and work of the Church. The children, youth and adults of Ascension are enriched spiritually in all the Christian Education offers, including but not limited to: Weekly Bible Study, Prayer and Healing service, Stepping Stones, Sunday school, Summer Day Camp, Nursery, and Advent programming. This is a growing ministry that needs many volunteers. We are very excited to be planning many cross generational enrichment events involving the whole family.

Our goal is to strengthen the faith of the Ascension congregation using 4 keys: Caring Conversations, Devotions, Service and Traditions.

We want to share the good news of Jesus with the whole family of Ascension in fun and creative ways.

Sunday School Registration Now Open

Sunday school is offered for children in pre-k through grade 5 and runs from September through June (please note that nursery care is available for our youngest members and NO registration is required.)
